Samastichak’s footprint on internet...Samastichak is now
available on internet and this is first step which will certainly make it more
popular. With this, it now falls in the same category of those which are
already available on internet. With the advent of internet and its immense popularity,
there is not a single corner of globe where internet word is not heard. So how
can Samastichak lag behind.
Samastichak is a village of Bihar. It comes under Patna
district and located at its extreme boundary. Few people write the name of this
village as samatichak or smastichak but its correct spelling is samastichak. It
has population (18 years and above) of 924, out of which 490 are male and 424
are female. It has two governmental school –‘’Madhya vidyalay samastichak’’ and
‘’Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel High school’’. However, ‘’High school’’ is not
operational for the past 10+ years and only ‘’Madhya Vidyalay’’ is operational.
It also has a governmental hospital which is newly constructed and still waiting
for its inauguration (as on November2015). This hospital is in front of high
school. Metaled roads to every door step and better electricity facility is
also available here.
Main occupation of this village is agriculture as most of
them are small or middle class farmers. Poultry farming is another sector,
where farmers of this village have invested heavily. With the contribution of
villagers, this village has a newly constructed temple of Lord Shiva.
Samastichak has got two community halls. One community hall
is located at “Brahmsthan” (Popularly called as “Brahmthani”) and other located
at easternmost part of central village (near statue of Late Sri Bindeshwar
Prasad Singh), however this is still under construction (as on November2015).
Nearest market to this village is Bhagwan Ganj Bazar, where people often go for
their day to day work/need. Some people of this village have opened shops in
the Bhagwan Ganj Bazar. And in case if some goods or articles are not available
to their nearest market(Bhagwan Ganj) then people also go to Masaurhi (20 km
from Samastichak), Patna (50km from Samastichak), Jehanabad (15km from
Samastichak) or Sigori (7km from Samastichak).
Central part of this village is mainly dominated by Kurmi(an OBC caste of Bihar), however
other caste people like Kahar, Gareri,
Thakur (all are castes of Bihar) also live there. This village is an
epitome of unity in diversity as different castes people live with each other
happily. Central part of village has two wings-Samastichak Mushari, largely dominated by Mushars(an OBC caste of Bihar) and Beldari Tola, largely dominated by Beldars (an OBC caste of Bihar); however some Mushars also live to the
south of Beldari Tola. As per information available on internet, it clearly shows that Saryu Bind or Sarju Bind is fighting legal battle.

This village has a newly constructed governmental hospital.
Earlier, at the same place there was a govt. hospital but over longer duration
of time, the hospital was severely damaged. But with help of villagers, this
village once again has got new and better hospital. Till now (as on
November2015), it has not been inaugurated but after its inauguration, it is
expected that sick families will be treated right here and they will not
suffer. Earlier, in the search of governmental hospital people needed to go to
Masaurhi and Patna which was really a difficult task.

This village has dense network of metaled roads which
connects everyone’s doorstep. These roads were constructed under the scheme “Pradhan
Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna”. Samastichak has better electricity facility, good
network of drainage system. Day by Day, electricity availability is getting
improved and now this village gets around 18hrs to 20hrs of electricity per
day.
Before
2010, only unmetaled roads were there and there was no electricity and also the
drainage system was not good enough. So people often faced problem in rainy
season. Even if some urgent works were there, they didn’t come out of their
houses. And as evening came closer, the whole village was submerged in
darkness. But now those days are gone and everything is getting improved. Now
even in night, people looking from far places can identify that any village is
there.
Madhya vidyalay Samastichak is the name of the governmental
School, which was constructed in the year 2005. This School has three different
buildings in the same compound. This School is located at the corner of Beldari
Tola and to the north of the central part of the village. This School has 17
Class Rooms. It is also equipped with lavatory. Here, students of class 1 to
class 10 are enrolled in large number. This school is also used as polling station
during both Parliamentary and Assembly Election. As this is a governmental
school, so mead day meal(madhyanbhojan) is also provided as per the routine given below:-
Some children of this village also go to a nearby CBSE school-"Teresa International Academy" which is located in Khanpura.

Samastichak has a famous field popularly known as ‘’samastichak
field’’ where cricket and football are often played. Thios field is located in the east of central
part of village and close to Samastichak Mushari. This field is often used for playing
cricket matches between two villages. Recently in holi a cricket match was
oraganised by Sudhir kumar (Hardware tycoon of village) in which the
participating team were ‘’Bhagawanganj Thana’’ and ‘’samastichak’’. And it is
proud to say that samastichak won the game. Few diginatry guests like SDO, BDO……..also
arrived to witness the match.
Earlier, the area of the field was small but with the
intervention of villagers, its area has been increased and also there is
cemented running /jogging track at its perimeter.
This is another sector where farmers of this village have
invested a lot and it is for this reason, samastichak alone has …………. Poultry farm
and few more is under construction. Farmers buy poultry items from their
dealers and they used to sell their chicken in markets which includes Patna,
Jehanabad, Arwal etc. This has emerged as good source of income for farmers.
However they also suffer loss when there is no/less demand.
